In sheer frustration after logging over 38 dropouts in 14 days and from Jan 20-23 our connection lost completely, I’ve switched to wireless 4G via the towers in the golf club carpark. Now getting at least twice the speed promised by NBN.
My comment:
Given that the NBN has failed us, what about a proposal from Telstra (or whoever has the tower at the golf club) to build us a couple more towers in exchange for a certain number of people contracted to use 4G – and 5G when it comes out – the towers will be there.
I think the vast majority will now agree that the NBN was built on a false premise, and that internet-over-the-air is, and always has been, the ideal solution. So we can now happily ignore the NBN and go wireless. Simple.
