One thing to take away from last night’s community meeting…
|You should contact your Internet provider (or a new one if you wish to transition to another) * NOW * and ask to be activated for NBN.
- You have to be connected on NBN (Fibre To The Node) FTTN before we can start going through the Technology Choice process for Fibre To The Premises (FTTP).
- If you remain with your current internet provider there should be no cost. If you have to break contract, most providers will credit your account with the contract break fee to get you as a new customer.
- Once you activated (or have been given a date), may I respectfully ask that you email myself at nbn@gleneaglesestate.net with that date, or update your Gleneagles Estate website account with the date yourself.
Presentation slides will go up shortly.
Thank you again for your participation last night, most appreciated.

Just went to Telstra site (my current ISP), but the site said NBN is not available??
It should be. Do the online chat and you can activate nbn online that way(I did this) or call 1800 993 728
I’ve checked iinet, Telstra, Optus and TOY, all say we are ready for service. I’ve signed up with iinet and my neighbour has signed up with Telstra. I know the NBNCO website says we are not ready for service but most ISP say otherwise, if you need to find an ISP check out http://www.whistleout.com.au and choose your option
