Gleneagles Estate NBN Ready For Service (RFS)
Retail Service Providers (RSPs or ISPs as we know them, who provide us with a retail internet service) are actively stating our area is ready to connect us to the NBN Fibre To The Node Network (FTTN).

This is an important first step in moving towards getting a Fibre To the Premises (FTTP) connection.
Why?
NBN have stated they will only accept Technology Choice applications for addresses that have NBN activated first.
What do I have to do?
You should contact your Internet provider (or a new one if you wish to transition to another) * NOW * and ask to be transitioned to the NBN on an NBN Plan.
Once you are on the NBN, may I respectfully ask that you email myself when you are activated at nbn@gleneaglesestate.net, or update your Gleneagles Estate website account with the activation date.
We are working incredibly hard to bring the best available internet service to our community, however we really do need visibility in terms of metrics as to how people are engaged.
This helps cement objective evidence in our discussions with NBN, which are still ongoing. We do need as much information from the community as possible, to help us make FTTP happen for Gleneagles Estate
Please remember:
Keep in mind the FTTN service will be a great improvement over what you currently have, but we do ask that you do not lose sight of the bigger picture in terms of your requirements in the near future. FTTP will be much better, more reliable, more scalable and will grow and shrink as your requirements do. With FTTP you will also have much more flexibility and versatility with your connection options.
Please consider:
- Your choice of ISP
- What you have to do to prepare for the NBN.
- If you have a business, the ACCC has some useful information as well.
Details of NBN plans from some RSPs:

There are a range of ISP’s that you can use – the NBN site has a list you can use.
Dont forget the Community Meeting on Monday 3 July at 6:30 PM at the Golf Club.
