Ready For Service (RFS) date updated by NBN – June 2017

An updated RFS estimated date published by NBN today:

“*This date is an estimate and could change. This technology is based on nbn’s current deployment plans and is subject to change.”

What is being installed – Fibre To The Node (FTTN) – is not the technology we want for residents in the estate. The Technology Choice upgrade process currently offers a path for residents towards a Fibre To The Premises (FTTP) rollout, which has been the goal of the project set by the community for over 2 years now.

Once the area is declared RFS we will be emailing all those who have indicated interest to:

(1) Apply for NBN through their Internet Provider
(avoid contracts if you can, so you can choose the provider who meets your NBN requirements later on)

(2) Submit their Technology Choice Individual Premises Application.

We will provide instructions and information along as we get closer to this point.

The more you spread the word to your neighbours, the cheaper FTTP will become for the overall community as well as yourself.

Dont miss out on this opportunity. Please spread the word.

Thank you.
