Node construction pictures

The physical node is expected to be finished on 14 December 2017. UPDATE: Node had power connected and physical installation completed 15 December.

The Ready For Service (RFS) date – whereby we can submit Technology Choice Individual Premises Applications – is unknown, though it it is hoped it could be July or August 2017. The Telstra Rollout map shows all of Kambah Ready for Service by 7 December 2017. UPDATE: NBN Site now says July – September 2017

This is not the technology we want for residents in the estate (VDSL2 over copper).  The technology upgrade process we have been working with residents for is for a fibre to the premises rollout, for all the reasons that are stated on the information on this site.

It does, however represent an important milestone in the process.

This is the VERY FIRST node constructed in the Southside of Canberra. Well done Gleneagles Estate Committee, I don’t think this is any co-incidence.
